Kobe Bryant’s Effect Around the World

People from all around the world, NBA fans or not, have shown their condolences to the NBA legend. Murals of Kobe Bryant and his daughter, Gigi have popped up everywhere, especially in Los Angeles. Fans have placed flowers and candles in front of the murals to mourn him and his daughter. Kobe merchandise have sold out in stores everywhere, and in some cases, prices have gone up drastically following his death. Many athletes paid their condolences whether through social media or in-game. Football stars such as Chritiano Ronaldo and Leonardo Messi have sent their condolences via Instagram posts. Neymar Jr. honored Kobe Bryant after a goal by making the numbers 24 with his hands.
